IYF is a light that shines on the hearts of youth
Young people try to decorate their lives with style and individuality; however, this cannot give true freedom or peace. Today’s youth have long wandered from the values and social responsibilities needed to guide the next generation—they are our hope and our future. IYF shares their worries and difficulties and supports their endeavors and passion.
IYF is a bright, vibrant festival for the youth of tomorrow. There is sharing and volunteering in IYF, because its members can sacrifice for others and are freed from their own small world. IYF is a cradle of global leadership that nurtures strong hearts in all people and lifts them up to discover their dreams.
Just as a star gleams through the darkness, the youth of IYF will become bright stars that shine throughout the world.
Greetings to the leaders who are guiding youths across the world. I am the Chairman of IYF Moon Taek Park. IYF transcends race, nationality and religion to overcome challenges and change despair into hope. Now many world leaders have joined our cause and begun cooperating with us, and as a result we have observed how peoples' hearts and minds have changed to live happier lives.
We are currently faced with a 4th industrial revolution. Furthermore, this generation is also known as the 2nd renaissance because the rapid growth that occurred 500 years ago is once again prepared to bring about substantial growth to the history of mankind. Such a phenomenon is made possible due to the development of new sharing technologies that makes physical distances and barriers irrelevant.
Our greatest value is sharing and we hope to do so by sharing the teachings of the Founder Pastor Ock Soo Park with you all, who teaches people how to live with hope and faith. We therefore believe that through your cooperation we will spread happiness to many peoples' hearts. Technologies and economies develop as the days go by, but if character and heart do not grow accordingly then such technological and economical achievements will grow misery instead. When it comes to bearing fruits we would like to become seed-planting farmers with you all. The world we share together shall be the world's greatest "sharing."
